An anthology of 23 texts, 17 poems, 7 prosaic texts, and 64 reproduction of visual art works and photographs characterising the city of Brno.
Ludvík Kundera (1920–2010) was Czech poet, dramatist, novelist, translator, editor and literary historian. He was connected with avant-garde trends, especially surrealism. He was the head dramatist of Mahen's theatre in Brno, as a historian he focused mainly on František Halas, Hans Arp and Bertolt Brecht. In his radio plays, he sought anti-illusory theater.
Alena Mizerová is the director of Masaryk University Press, previously she has directed also the publishing house of the Brno Technical University. She is the author and editor of numerous scholarly books.
